This guildhall is a 19th century building based on an earlier model that stood here on the corner of Thetford Market Place. Law courts were once held here on regular occasions, along with various duties of the mayor and the Thetford Corporation. Today, it is used as public rooms and hall for hire, along with an art gallery upstairs.
