From this page, you may follow any of the links to a selection of photographs and digital images taken in the Thetford area, and in Portugal. This section of the website should not be taken too seriously, it is just myself, having a little fun. It is often remarked these days, that Thetford is becoming a Little Lisbon, as more and more Portuguese migrants arrive, and as the cafés open. Of course, it's very much an exaggeration. But it gave me an idea, for using some of my digital photos that I have taken in my home area, and on holiday in Portugal. Each page has two embedded images - one taken locally in the Thetford area, and one taken in Portugal - mainly in the Lisbon area. This isn't completely unfair, as many of the migrants do come from that area.
it's not all fun though. It has a slightly serious message - that Portugal is a developed, cultured country. Wages may not be as good as they are here, but Portugal is a proud and beautiful country. it's important to see people as they are at home.

All of the images are my own, and were taken either with a Canon Powershot A60 or A85 digital camera. Best viewed with a resolution of at least 1024 x 768.
