Blade-Like Flint Flake

I am standing here at Two Mile Bottom Thetford, smack bang in the middle of a number of Mesolithic microlith sites recorded onto the Norfolk SMR. These sites include a number of the favourite collecting spots of the late 19th and early 20th century Breckland Flinters, and also a nearby excavation at the power station, that produced Mesolithic finds during the late 1990s.

On Survey 39 on this Thetford Forest compartment, I noted a percentage of blade-like flakes such as this one, that suggested Mesolithic or Early Neolithic activity here. Anyway, I returned to this site to more seriously see if I could find any of those tiny hard to spot microblades. Could I heck...
