Notched flake in its forest soil context

Looks like it might be an example of an 'arrowshaft shaver' as I have heard them called - a notched flake. Maybe they did acquire their notches from doing a job something like scraping bark off of arrowshafts - who knows? This flake is laying on its (to use the lithics term) dorsal surface - and you can clearly see a bulbar scar radiating away from the striking platform...

Also note how sandy the soil is here in Santon Warren (Santon - Tun in sandy soil)
