Grimes Graves Round Barrows, Weeting with Bromehill, Norfolk - Thetford Forest
There are two pairs of prehistoric tumuli marked on the Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 maps close to the Grimes Graves Neolithic Flint Mine Site (I plan on launching a new page discussing Grimes Graves flint mines during the summer 2006). The northern pair are situated on the north side of the road that leads from the A1065 to Grimes Graves, at TL80379010 and TL80339006 respectively. They are in a recently felled compartment, but are quite abraded.
The photo below is of the better condition round barrow of the southern pair, and is located in Thetford Forest at TL80448927 between Grimes Graves and Bromehill Cottage.
