Silver Roman Coin from Thetford Forest

Small Finds - Silver Roman Coin from Thetford Forest

I don't pretend to know anything about Roman coins, so maybe you can tell me something about this coin. It was one of the Roman coins (5 silver and 59 bronze) that my friend Ian recovered using a metal detector under permit at site 32349 in Thetford Forest. One of those coins may date to AD 408 - the last year of issue in Britain. This suggests that the settlement was still in use right at the twilight of Roman Britain. There's a thought.
