This is a typical late prehistoric round flint scraper. round, button, notched, and D-shaped scrapers are all common finds in Breckland. Scrapers could have had many uses, from scraping the fat off of animal skins, to scraping the bark off of arrow shafts. Its difficult to date a scraper. Maybe Early Bronze Age circa 3500 to 4,200 years ago?
