The River at Thetford - winding through the Forest

This is one of my favourite areas of Thetford Forest - the Little Ouse River Valley between Thetford and Brandon. Largely free of cultivated farmland - with its fertilisers, nitrates, pesticides - this is a relatively clean forest river. Its banks are rich with dragonflies, nesting swans, kingfishers, etc. Fish species include dace, chub, and some trout.
